Hayne Barn Wedding Fayre ~ Kent Vintage China Hire

We had a lovely time at the Hayne Barn wedding fayre yesterday, and met lots of lovely couples and suppliers. Hayne Barn House is a stunning wedding venue set in the Kent countryside with beautifully landscaped grounds, wood panelled rooms, roaring fire places and a lavish marquee. The beautiful cupcakes displayed on our vintage bone china were made by Caroline Bakes Cakes.  They were absolutely delicious and had our mouths watering all day! The gorgeous floral displays were provided by the Flower Craft Workshop, who are also based in Tenterden, Kent. The flowers looked fabulous with our vintage bone china and smelt heavenly! Vintage Tea Kent will be at the Hayne Barn House wedding fayre on Sunday 2nd October 2011, 11 am – 4 pm, in Saltwood, Hythe. Come and say hello!

This delightful Cavour Ware bone china tea trio dates around 1940. We ♥ the floral motif and the strong accents of gold gilding. It is one of our more unusual pieces and we absolutely adore it!

This cute vintage mixed three tier cake stand is made from a gorgeous Royal Albert Lady Carlyle plate, a very pretty Royal Albert English Rose plate and a sweet fine bone china teacup and saucer. Perfect for cupcakes and other sweet treats for weddings or afternoon tea!

Charming Vintage Teapot ~ Kent Vintage China Hire

This charming vintage teapot is so vintage that it has no mark stamped on the bottom.  This means that it probably predates the use of marks and is late-nineteenth century. We ♥ the pretty shape of this teapot, with its delicate blue flowers and gold gilt finish. It would make a beautiful table centre piece, decorated with flowers.

Vintage Tea Kent Photo Shoot – Sneek Peek

Such glorious weather for our photo shoot yesterday! Not a cloud in the sky all day. This did, however, make photographing some of our latest additions a little more challenging! We did manage to capture some lovely shots towards the end of the afternoon.

Enchanting Vintage Royal Albert Cake Plates ~ Kent Vintage China Hire

At Vintage Tea Kent we have two of these enchanting vintage Royal Albert cake plates in our collection. With the delicate pastel floral sprays and scalloped rim gilt finish, they really are beautiful pieces.

The above Royal Albert Tranquility tea set makes up part of our collection at Vintage Tea Kent. The Royal Albert Gainsborough shape was used to complement this elegant pattern. The rims of this shape are embossed with scroll shapes and trimmed in gold.
